Health Care Premium Discount Initiative

Objective
Encourage employees to participate in health related activities in exchange for a health care premium discount.

Components
  • Participation in the Initiative is voluntary and all information is confidential
  • There are two parts employees complete to earn credits
    • Part One - Personal Health Assessment
      • Annual Physical (or)
        • WCC Memorial Supplemental Healthcare Plan - expenses related to employee or spouse annual physical are covered at 100%
      • Health Risk Assessment (HRA)
        • Performed by outside healthcare professional
        • Personalized report provided to participants
        • Aggregate data provided to assist in development of proactive programs
    • Part Two - Participation in Wellness related activities
      • Annual Health Assessment completed by spouse
      • On-site Health Coaching
      • On-site Core fitness training classes
      • Company sponsored Annual Team Event
      • Informational and Instructional Seminars
      • Tobacco Cessation program
      • Personal Workout Log
      • Organized health related events
      • Endurance spots team or league
      • Community Service
      • Flu shots
      • Blood Drive
  • The Personal Health Assessment and Wellness activities requirements, as well as credits required , will be defined each year
  • Individuals who earn the required credit to complete both parts will receive a 5% health care premium discount the following year
