Health Care Premium Discount Initiative
Objective
Encourage employees to participate in health related activities in exchange for a health care premium discount.
Components
- Participation in the Initiative is voluntary and all information is confidential
- There are two parts employees complete to earn credits
- Part One - Personal Health Assessment
- Annual Physical (or)
- WCC Memorial Supplemental Healthcare Plan - expenses related to employee or spouse annual physical are covered at 100%
- Health Risk Assessment (HRA)
- Performed by outside healthcare professional
- Personalized report provided to participants
- Aggregate data provided to assist in development of proactive programs
- Part Two - Participation in Wellness related activities
- Annual Health Assessment completed by spouse
- On-site Health Coaching
- On-site Core fitness training classes
- Company sponsored Annual Team Event
- Informational and Instructional Seminars
- Tobacco Cessation program
- Personal Workout Log
- Organized health related events
- Endurance spots team or league
- Community Service
- Flu shots
- Blood Drive
- The Personal Health Assessment and Wellness activities requirements, as well as credits required , will be defined each year
- Individuals who earn the required credit to complete both parts will receive a 5% health care premium discount the following year
