The ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification is an internationally recognized quality management standard for the design and development, production and, when relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products.

For Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Inc, the ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification also requires our commitment to continuous improvement within the QMS framework.  As such, we implement programs that focus on emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

To ensure compliance, our quality management system is periodically verified by independent accredited third parties (Intertek).
